Biodiversity Summaries
Municipalities have a significant role to play in biodiversity conservation as part of their mandate to provide a safe and healthy environment for residents. In support of this role, DEAT and SANBI have identified the need to provide municipalities with good quality biodiversity information that is easily accessible.

The project will make biodiversity information, including spatial data, available to municipalities to support them in their reporting, for example State of Environment Reports. The project will also provide municipalities with general implications for land-use planning and decision-making. Read more...
